"I'm told to call an 800 number in Pasadena. What do they know about my situation in Marin?"  "No one from SEIU came to our Steward's Council meeting."  [This is what has happened with the member call center for all of California.  SEIU members only see an SEIU employee when SEIU needs something from their members, not the other way around as it should be.  What a shame.]

February 5, 2010 – Sternburger With Fries – Who’s Next?  Marina Del Rey Hospital Workers - "NUHW is not involved in this decert, these members just want the hell out of SEIU."  [Just wanting the hell out of SEIU seems to be an ever-increasing cry from SEIU members in California!]

And Adios Andy has the final word on their Glorious Maximum Leader Andy Stern:  “he now has brushfires burning in UHW, 6434, 721, 1021, 221, and a thriving reform movement going on right now in 521 - all locals that were either trusteed by Andy Stern, or were created out of thin air by Andy Stern out of previously functional locals.”  [And of course, these locals are no longer functional.  Poor, long-suffering SEIU members.]
