International Union of Police Associations (IUPA) this is the website for international union with which EAA is affiliated. You are automatically a member of IUPA when you join EAA and receive all benefits of IUPA.

American Federation of Labor/Council of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) This is an international body composed of many international unions dedicated to promoting the interests of workers through unionization.

Union Plus the many discounts and benefits available through Union Plus are another benefit of EAA s affiliation with an international union and the AFL-CIO. You are automatically eligible for Union Plus when you join EAA. To use these benefits, state that you are a member of IUPA Local 8000. They will ask for your social security number as verification.

Harry Bridges Institute EAA works actively with the Harry Bridges Institute. It is named for a long-time labor leader in California and is dedicated to the furtherance of unionization.

Los Angeles County Federation of Labor EAA is a member of the County Fed as are most City unions and many other unions operating within Los Angeles County.

Charters and Codes from this link you can find the City Charter, the Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC), the Administrative Code, and other documents related to City Government. Beware that the indexing system for these codes is not as intuitive or user-friendly as it could be. Perseverance, however, will ultimately be rewarded.
