According to an internal document, SEIU is attempting to basically create WW III . . . SEIU organizers who were “yelling at the top of their lungs . . . pounded their fists . . . physically pushed . . . Los Angeles Superior Court Judge R. Bruce Minto issued a restraining order against the staffer [who] . . . threatened to kill two Kaiser social workers and pushed a third employee during Huerta’s visit”
July 15, 2010 – Los Angeles Times – Big Union Supports California Measure to Legalize Marijuana – “United Food and Commercial Workers Union . . . union leaders believe could generate thousands of agricultural jobs” [Jobs seem to be their only concern in this issue. ]
July 12, 2010 – Crain’s New York Business - Hotel and Garment Unions Settle on Terms of Divorce – “garment workers to keep longtime cash cow Amalgamated Bank, while hotel workers to walk away with a Seventh Avenue office tower worth $70 million . . . deal to end the bloody civil war . . . SEIU's . . . affiliate is paying a hefty price . . . two years of fighting that took time and resources away from organizing workers and a toll on the union's reputation, leaders were anxious for peace, at whatever price” [Perhaps SEIU will someday quit battling other unions and work with them to organize the unorganized instead of undermining the entire labor movement.]
