AUGUST 28,2008 - In accordance with its long-time policy, EAA scheduled an appointment for members Michael Hunt and Julius Obembe to examine the financial records of the Union on August 28, 2008. Any voluntary dues paying member of EAA who is in good standing can schedule such an appointment. Labor Representative Ben Pezzillo presented copies of the last four (4) years’ audits, all of which were prepared by an outside Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

These individual members are working as agents of SEIU. Whereas EAA even allows these people to view our financial records, SEIU does not allow their own members or interested EAA members to view their financial records. This is understandable given the widespread misuse of members’ dues money prevalent at SEIU.

Ultimately, Mike Hunt and Julius Obembe were overheard making the comments that EAA’s records seemed to be in perfect order. The independent CPA’s in all 4 years’ audits rated EAA exceptionally high.
