Find Your Elected Representatives - Public

In accordance with EAA's Constitution and By-Laws, there are several levels of elected representatives, each with defined responsibilities.

Governors:
The Board of Governors is composed of one elected member employed in each of the MOUs (except MOU 31) represented by EAA and a number of "at-large" members dependent on the membership total. The Board is tasked with financial and policy setting responsibility.

For a brief introduction to your Governor or to contact that governor by email, please click on the Governors name (some are under construction)

MOU 1 Administrative                                   Arturo Faelnar

MOU 19 Supervisory Technical                     Eric Gilbertsen

MOU 20 Supervisory Administrative             Aida Tomines, EAA Treasurer

MOU 21 Technical                                        Gary Yamamoto, EAA Secretary

At-Large (from MOU __)                               Frank Giles

At-Large (from MOU 21)                               Sharon Johnson, EAA President

At-Large (from MOU 1)                                 Lawrence Rolon

The Board operates through a series of Board Committees. Each Committee is tasked with in-depth consideration of particular issues. The Committee then brings its analysis and recommendation to the full Board for approval. For a list of Committee assignments, please click here.

Unit Council:
Each represented unit has a Unit Council which is tasked with administering the internal affairs of the unit. Each Unit Council has a maximum of five (5) members, not including the unit Governor.

Union Stewards:
Our Union Stewards are the frontline in EAA's defense of members' rights, are a conduit for EAA to disseminate information to its members, and are EAA's membership recruiters in the workplace. They are trained to assist members with work-place problems and to represent them in grievances. On a daily basis, they provide the face of the Union to its members and would-be members. Their job sometimes seems thankless, but results in the satisfaction of a "job well-done" when positive results are achieved through their efforts. All members should recognize and appreciate the dedication to the Union that is required for this position.

Consider volunteering to serve your brothers and sisters as a Union Steward. Many locations do not enjoy the benefits a Steward. There can be a Union Steward in each workplace with represented employees and in each area or floor of the workplace. Staff Labor Representative John Larson can provide you with further information on becoming a Union Steward. Check the Member Education page of this website for publications about the Union Steward.
