AUGUST 27, 2008 - To my EAA brothers and sisters;

There have been e-mails sent from debra.cabeza@gmail.com and circulated in various forums that provide erroneous information. While Debra Cabeza is my legal name, I want to assure all of you that these e-mails are not from me and that I in no way promote SEIU or the uninformed members of EAA that support a de-certification effort.

I am outraged that the SEIU organization or wayward individuals in EAA, that stood shoulder-to-shoulder with me on picket lines two years ago, have stooped to such low levels.

As one of your proud stewards, I wish to re-iterate my support of the Engineers and Architects Association and its continued representation of you and I, in negotiating the best working conditions for all of us at the City of Los Angeles.
