AUGUST 29, 2008 - Investigation of SEIU & Freeman who, like the President of SEIU Local 721, was appointed by SEIU International, was announced today by the Los Angeles Times. The United States Congress will conduct this investigation.

We should all remember that the allegations against Freeman and other appointed leaders at SEIU locals were first made to the SEIU International months or even years ago. But since these leaders are appointed for their ties to Andy Stern, no concrete action was taken by SEIU until our own local paper, the Los Angeles Times, began their expose. Check all the links on the "SEIU facts and links" page on this website and you will find similar accusations against many SEIU locals, including Local 721.
