CAO CONFIRMS RESTART OF DWP PARITY NEGOTIATIONS

EAA confirmed this proposed session the day we received his letter - April 9th, 2009.

We are assembling our negotiating team and we are prepared to continue negotiations from the point we left off. As you may remember, we had already arrived at tentative approvals between the parties as to which classifications should be included in the parity negotiations. EAA had also tendered two (2) formulae designed to address and eliminate the wage disparity over time.

Your Negotiating Team made up of Governors, Unit Council members, rank and file members, and staff, are going back into these negotiations with an open mind. We will consider any legitimate proposals that will produce an outcome that will eliminate the disparity over time.

EAA will continue to update its members on this website as developments occur.
