MOU Negotiations Update for March 31, 2010

City Controller Releases Budgetary Cash Flow Memo

In attachment 2, the Controller details two possible end of year scenarios to balance the budget: “Take $199 million from the Reserve Fund" [or] "Not pay employees for the last 4 weeks of the fiscal year".  [These possibilities are a direct result of the Mayor and City Council putting off their day of reckoning as long as possible in hopes that it would go away.]
