DWP Wage Parity Negotiations Set for June 26

Your negotiating committee will meet with the CAO representatives on Friday, June 26th at 1:00 p.m. in the CAO's office at City Hall East.

Executive Employee Relations Committee Special Meeting

Bob Aquino, Angel Calvo, Ben Pezzillo, and a group of rank and file EAA members from the Department of Airports and ITA, addressed the Executive Employee Relations Committee (EERC) at a special meeting today at 8:00 a. m.

DWP WAGE PARITY NEGOTIATIONS APRIL 21

Your EAA Negotiating Team met today with CAO representatives to resume DWP Wage Parity negotiations.

CAO CONFIRMS RESTART OF DWP PARITY NEGOTIATIONS

In a letter dated April 6, 2009, Assistant City Administrative Officer, Tom Coultas, proposed to restart parity negotiations on Tuesday April 21st, 2009, at 2:00 p.m.

DWP WAGE PARITY DECISION BY ERB APPLIES ONLY TO EAA AND THE CITY

No union other than EAA can negotiate parity as a result of this decision.

ERB Votes to Uphold DWP Wage Parity Decision

The ERB voted 4 to 1 to uphold the Hearing Officer's decision ordering the City to negotiate DWP Wage Parity in accordance with our Letter of Intent.

Hearing Officer Finds for EAA in DWP Disparity

The ERB should order the EERC and CAO to bargain with EAA, the hearing officer in UERP 1652 recommends. He adds "the Union is entitled to a broad remedial order".
