Stern and SEIU Deadend Model for Unions

OCTOBER 9, 2008 - SEIU "sounds nice, but it really means quantity at the expense of quality." says an article at Socialist Worker in more criticism of Andy Stern from the very people that would like to support SEIU but cannot. Stating that "the SEIU leadership consciously undercuts our ability to strike--because it doesn't see a fundamental conflict between workers and bosses." and "For Stern, what matters is the union's size and dues base, not the improvement of our wages and conditions.", this article cuts to the core of why SEIU would be a bad deal for EAA members or any other workers SEIU is attacking anywhere.

In addition, the SEIU members writing this article have seen the empty promises by SEIU in action or, as they say, "the chickens have come home to roost" as these SEIU members see their real wages falling due to sweetheart deals by appointed SEIU leadership.
